Mark, from Franklin, TN, began working with Bill in year 2001. He hired Bill to win the road course championship at The Nashville Superspeedway in the Baby Grand division, for which they succeeded. Mark is responsible for monitoring driver performance, sponsor search management & sponsor relations, team budgeting, conducting team meetings, and supervision of all departments.
Dwight, from West Plains, Missouri, began working with Bill
in 2001. Dwight helped him in many areas of the racing profession, along with
being being a car owner for several of Bill's races and the owner of the 2002
National BGSCA baby grand, driven by Carl Edwards.
Billy & Barry Mahoney:
Car Specialists
Billy & Barry, from Brentwood, TN, began racing with
Bill in 2000 in the BGSCA Series and working with Bill in 2001 in the Super
Truck Division, Nashville Speedway.
They worked in racing, not only on their own race cars, but also worked
on the crew of Darwin Oordt’s late model team.
Chris, from Murfreesboro, TN, began working with Bill in
year 2000 in the Pure Stock Division, Nashville Speedway USA. He (along with his brother, Phillip) was the
owner of the Pure Stock car, driven 6 times by Bill Christie, with 3 wins, 1
second, 1 third, and 1 fifth. Chris continued on in 2001 as spotter and jack
man.
Don began working with Bill during his first year of
racing, 1998. He is a professional welder, working a Schmeide Machine and
Tools, Tullahoma, TN.
Tommy, of Brentwood,
TN, began working with Bill in 2001.
Art, from Nashville, TN, began working with Bill in late
2001 as car chief at Riverview Speedway in the Super Truck Division. Art has 6
years experience as crew chief at Nashville Speedway with various late model
teams: Baker, Barnes, Roberts, & Renshaw. Prior to that he drag raced
motorcycles approximately 13 years.
Tiny, from Nashville, TN, began working with Bill in late
2001 at Riverview Speedway. Tiny has approximately 17 years experience working with Binkley Racing at
Nashville Speedway USA. He has worked with Jeremy Mayfield, Jeff Green, and Mark
Day.
Lisa, Team Mom, is also Bill’s mother. She started in 1998
creating portfolios and resumes in order to help Bill build a racing career.
She is responsible for all team correspondence, preparation of press releases,
assisting with all marketing activities, and over-seeing the team’s internet
activities and web-site. She is also responsible for feeding the “crew”.
If there’s anything that needs to be done, she will see to it that
it’s taken care of.
