Motorsports Moves Into National Baby Grand Points Lead
Christie currently sits eight points up on his
nearest competitor as the teams enter into their final regional and national
events. Upcoming races include a return to IRP where MHE2 feels confident that
they can better their sweep of earlier this season. MHE2’s now famous No. 3 will
also be seen at the next national event, held at Star Speedway in
Mark Hyjek, team owner/
manager: “Our team has had a very trying season with many rewards. Bill is a
real energizing leader, both on the track and in the pits. His desire to
win keeps all of us searching for the perfect combinations for every race. His
determination and our crew’s drive to put him in the best car we
can will be the keys for us to tie this championship up. The only item that
I see might hold us back is funding. As everyone in any type of motorsports
knows most of the time finding backing is a harder challenge than the actual
racing.”
